True prayer flows from a faith in the greatness of God and a faith that God is the creator and sustainer of ALL things. Without that confidence in God prayer is meaningless. As a man it is often difficult for us to acknowledge that we can’t do everything. When I turn to God in prayer, I am saying God is great and the creator of all; I need His help. Instead of making prayer the “last resort”, the working man should make prayer the first thing he does. After all God can do anything and God has already shown that He is working on our behalf. “You alone are the Lord.”
