Men of Character

Read Luke 14:15 – When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, "Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God."

Correctly arranging priorities is a challenge. If we are not careful we can end up focusing our attention on what we do instead of why we do it. For example, we work so our family’s physical needs are met. If we neglect our families as we work, we miss giving them the attention that they need even more than the physical comforts. Consider what is most important for you to do and schedule that first. Plan time to do what is central to your life and you will not end up neglecting the important things. If you end up neglecting some of the small things, you will likely not even recall them as your child graduates from school or walks down a wedding aisle.
