Genesis 6:8

Scripture:

Genesis 6:8  "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” (NASB)

Observation:

When I arrived at the conference, I was ushered up to the front row. I never like to seek the limelight, I rather like to go quietly amid the noise of the world as I try to make a difference for Christ, but on this occasion I was seated up front. I had “found favor” with those running the event. Today's verse speaks a simple message, how Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord! While at first, I felt funny sitting there, but being the main speaker at the conference, I sat quietly until it was my time to share.

Finding favor with someone means that we live in such a way that they admire us, and want to show a little gratitude. Noah found that kind of favor with the Lord and it saved his family from the flood. I wonder, when our Lord looks upon us, does He do so with favor? Are we living a lifestyle worthy of His Favor, our families may just depend on it! So, let's live well and bring God the glory!

2) Ask the Holy Spirit for clarity and insight.

3) Share this with someone who would benefit from reading it.

4) Make sure others see Jesus in YOU today.
