“For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you.” NKJV
The unstated implication from Paul to Timothy was that he wanted churches planted in every city. The scripture makes it evident that God has chosen to spread the gospel through the local church, so church planting whether in the USA or abroad should always be a priority. Make your prayer focus this week church planting. Pray for the new church plants in your state on a regular basis. They face challenges that the established church does not face. Pray also for those areas in which a church is needed that God would raise up a church planter.
