“But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.” NKJV
Last Monday we read where almost the whole city came together to hear the Word. Now these people are running Paul and Barnabas out of the city. There were probably people in both groups. How do we respond to a hostile environment? You pray and preach the Word anyway. When we pray and preach the Word to unbelievers their response is not our responsibility. God is the one that gives the increase. God is the one that can open hearts to the gospel. Do not allow a negative response or a hostile response to discourage you. Remember that Paul kept praying, preaching the Word and leaving the results to God in every city that he visited.
