Read Luke 5:12 – And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." (NKJV)
It seems that everywhere Jesus went He encountered people who needed something from Him. Our cities are filled with people who need the touch of Jesus upon their lives. Unfortunately, many of those people don’t realize that Jesus is the answer. As you pray for your city, remember that you should be praying for individuals, people who need the touch of Jesus. Ask God to open the hearts of the people. Ask God to open your eyes to the needs of people as you go about your daily routine. Be sensitive to the opportunities that God brings your way.
