Read Mark 1:33 – And the whole city was gathered together at the door. (NKJV)
Everywhere Jesus went He attracted a crowd of people who wanted Him to minister to them. Your city is filled with people that need Jesus. How should this affect your praying? First, pray that your church will exalt Jesus. People are not interested in our religion, but they are interested in Jesus. Second, pray that the people in your church will open their hearts to those who come seeking Christ. Third, pray that the Holy Spirit will draw people to Christ. We have the promise that if we exalt Christ, the Holy Spirit will draw men to Christ. Remember, it is all about Jesus!
