Read Psalms 23:6 – Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. (NKJV)
David firmly believed that God’s goodness and mercy would always be a part of his life. Even when David sinned, he cast himself upon the mercy of God. God has promised to be good and merciful to us. That is a promise that you can pray for your family. Regardless of what your family members may do, pray that God’s goodness and mercy would follow and catch up with them. Pray that God’s mercy would be evident to them. God’s mercy is chasing after us so He can forgive us.
