Read 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 – For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. (NKJV)
In the midst of the confusion, turmoil and strife that fills our world it is important that we be reminded of the promise of Christ’s return. Jesus is coming back again to receive us to Himself. That is the blessed hope of every believer. Encourage other men by reminding them of this promise. We have heard it all our lives that Jesus is coming back. We have a destiny to live eternally with Jesus. That hope can be a source of encouragement not only to us but to those people we associate with on a regular basis.
