Read 2 Timothy 3:15-17 – And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
“The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.”
The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God! The scriptures are the revelation of God to man of God's will for how man should live and conduct his life on this side of heaven. Both testaments give us vital instruction, teaching, correction and even truth for rebuking error. Man should believe what the Bible says, and also conduct his affairs as the Bible teaches. The Bible can be trusted over any constitution, law or written document. It is the truth about us and about God. Base your life on this book and your life will succeed! Living life without the scriptures as your guide is like sailing without the North Star. Such would not only be insensible, but would have a deadly end.
