Fundamental Truth: The One True God (Part 4)

Read Luke 3:22 – And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In Luke 3, Jesus the Son of God is in the water being baptized. The Holy Spirit of God is descending on Him and the Father is speaking of how He loves His Son. One would have to deduct that there are three separate persons in the statement. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are separate, distinct and have identities. All three are God! Our God is One God with three identities in the Godhead. They are not forces, thoughts or ideas; they are personalities of the Godhead! Oh, how wonderful our God is, and worthy to be praised!
