Read Luke 6:27 – But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.
Reaching out with kindness to those who are hurtful is difficult. Yet it is a command of Christ that we do so. Sometimes life doesn’t hand us the best people to interact with, but we are responsible to act with the kindness demonstrated by Christ Jesus. In relationships someone has to take a step back for others to move forward. This may not seem fair or pleasant. Christ wants to win the lost to Him, and some of those He wants us to win will be our enemies. Let us not become at odds with Christ because we are at odds with others.
