Read Ecclesiastes 3:21 – Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?
Who knows where we go at death? Shall we go the way of the animal that dies? Not according to the scriptures. According to the scriptures, God knows our direction when we leave this earth. Our spirit is alive and will live eternally. For the animal, he is gone when he passes from this earth. But a man’s spirit is transported either to be with God or to be eternally banished from the presence of God at his death. The choice of where we spend our eternity is in our power to choose. Choose Jesus and choose eternal life with Him.
