Read Ecclesiastes 3:22 – So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?
Far too many people work for a future goal without living today. If a man has work that he loves why would he retire from it? We were made to work and to find enjoyment in that work. I can certainly understand not living under stress and strain in the latter years of life. But I also believe that the greatest joy in life is working and finding significance in your work. After we leave this earth it will not matter what we did while we were here. So enjoy your work and life today.
