Read Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 – A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?
Without the Lord, everything a man works for is in vain. Real enjoyment is when you can eat, live and work in peace. Hard is the life of a man who has to worry. It is even worse for the man who has to try to sleep while filled with worry. Consider going everyday to a job that you did not enjoy or love. The man who lives for God finds his whole life is content because he knows Who has his life in His hand.
