Scripture:
Romans 12:15 – “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.” (NASB)
Observation:
She cries for her until it's over. About every three weeks, I meet up with my daughter and her dog, Belle. I, of course, have our dog Dee. We meet to get the dogs groomed. Belle always goes first. The amazing thing is that they are friends, the two dogs. When Belle goes behind the half door to get her nails clipped, Dee stands at the door and cries for her friend. She doesn't stop until Belle returns and Dee checks her to make sure she's okay. I couldn't help but think of their friendship. How caring for each other they are in their dog way. Today's verse speaks of rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep. I guess you could say that those who rejoice and weep with others is a true friend. To be there for the good and the bad, the up times and the down times that life throws at us. Come to think of it, there is one who is always with us - good times and bad - Jesus Christ. All He wants is to be our friend. Maybe this season, we can open our hearts to the friendship He offers. Then we can share it with another. That's the greatest gift of this season!
Application:

2) Ask the Holy Spirit for clarity and insight.
3) Share this with someone who would benefit from reading it.
4) Make sure others see Jesus in YOU today.
