Hebrews 13:8

Scripture: 

Hebrews 13:8 – “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (NASB)

Observation:

It's hard to drive by it. It's just not the same! I hold in my heart some great memories of times gone by like staying overnight with my dad on a fishing trip. Sadly, the motel where we stayed has turned into a storage unit. We had some wonderful times there, cleaning fish, trading stories with some other fisherman who stayed there. It is a great memory, but things change in life, they don't always stay the same and some changes are painful to go through. Some changes we go through bring back memories of things we wish we could hold on to forever. How we wish we could keep them from changing.

Today's verse speaks of someone who has never changed and never will - Jesus Christ! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! What a wonderful thought. We don't have to go through any pain of wishing things were the same. He is the same. He is there for us every moment of our lives. Don't let this season go without coming to know the never changing Jesus. He is someone we can hold on to forever!

2) Ask the Holy Spirit for clarity and insight.

3) Share this with someone who would benefit from reading it.

4) Make sure others see Jesus in YOU today.
