Acts 19:29
“So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul's travel companions.” NKJ
Acts 21:30
“And all the city was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut.” NKJV
In more than one city when Paul preached the gospel he was met with opposition. Often the opposition was very strong. If you are preaching the truth of the Word there will be opposition. We have missionaries around the world who are working in places with strong opposition. Their opposition is often more radical than the opposition Paul faced. Pray for those missionaries that God will give them boldness to continue to speak the Word. Pray that God will give them wisdom to know how to minister in those countries where there is strong opposition. Pray that God will protect them and their families as they work to follow the call that God has placed upon their lives.
