“And He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters.” NKJV
When I read this passage I am reminded that Jesus is in control, even in the city. He knew there would be a man carrying water who would take His followers to a specific location for the Lord’s supper. Jesus knows all about your city. He knows what is taking place and what needs to take place. This is why we can approach God with boldness on behalf of our city. He already knows what the city needs. He knows what needs to happen to cause people to turn to Christ. Ask God to open your understanding for your city so you can pray for what the city needs.
