Read Luke 8:39 – “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. (NKJV)
Jesus has just set this man free from demons. This man’s life was radically changed. He had a power testimony and wanted to travel with Jesus. However, Jesus told him to go home and tell the people at home the great things God has done. The most important and strategic place for a man to demonstrate his changed life and his faith in God is at home. Let your work for God begin at home. As the home goes, so goes the church and as the church goes so goes the city. As you pray for your city, pray that Christian men would live exemplary lives at home as a testimony to the power of God.
