Read Luke 8:1 - Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. (NKJV)
It is obvious that Jesus wanted the Good News of the Kingdom of God preached in every city. He set the example by going from city to city proclaiming the gospel. Jesus did not wait for the people to come to Him; He went to the people. He preached the message where the people were. While it is important to invite and bring people to church, it is more important that we proclaim the Good News of Christ where people live and work. As you pray ask God to show you ways you can bring the message of Christ to the people in your city.
