Read Matthew 21:10-11 – And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, "Who is this?" So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee." (NKJV)
All the city was moved. That is a strong description of a reaction to the presence of Christ. When Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem people shouted, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” There was something about that worship that touched the hearts of the people. When you pray for your city, pray that the services at your church will experience a powerful presence of Jesus that will move unbelievers and cause them to focus on Christ. In the midst of our church schedules and activities we must not forget that it is all about Jesus.
