Prayer Partners

Read James 5:9 – Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! (NKJV)

The word “grumble” could also be translated “murmur”. The connotation refers to the tendency some people have to complain incessantly. This one problem the Israelites had in their wanderings in the wilderness. They griped about everything. Instead of constantly grumbling, work on praising. Look for the good in others. Be someone who encourages others. We need one another and we need to encourage one another. As Christians we live in a sinful world. We are bombarded with evil on every side. Take the high road and learn to encourage others in their walk with Christ rather than complain.
