Fighting an Unseen Enemy

Read Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. (NKJV)

The key to fighting this unseen enemy is prayer and intercession. Prayer and the Word are the two offensive weapons we have available to use against the enemy. The words “praying always” mean that we maintain a prayerful attitude throughout the day. As we saw with Nehemiah, he offered short one-sentence prayers to God throughout the day. We “watch” – that is we maintain an awareness of what is happening around us – so we can pray strategically. Join the fight in prayer and intercede for a generation that the enemy wants to destroy.
