Read Nehemiah 13:31 – Remember me, O my God, for good! (NKJV)
I find it interesting that the book of Nehemiah closes with a short prayer. Nehemiah simply asks God to remember him. That is one thing we can be assured of – God is very aware of what is happening in our lives. He is mindful of us. When we pray, we can be assured that God is listening and that He is aware of the details in our lives. These kind of prayers can be prayed anywhere and anytime. It is okay to pray for yourself, “Remember me, O God. I need You at work in my life.”
