Fundamental Truth: Sanctification (Part 4)

Read Hebrews 13:12 – And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God.

Jesus took the sins of the whole world and carried them away for us. Through His act of sacrifice He cleansed us from the sin that was our death. The least we can do in return is to remove sin from our daily lives. We should practice living a holy, godly life in this present world. Some people live so close to the world that there is no clear evidence of their relationship with Christ. If we live a holy life in Christ, the world around us will not only feel foreign to us, but we will be foreign to it.
