Read Romans 10:13-15 – For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” This is a fact that you can base your life on! God’s Word declares it and so we can trust it. Men have called upon every source of help in their lives. As children we call on our parents. As toddlers we call on our siblings for assistance. As teenagers we call on our friends. As adults we call on our spouse, leaders and organizations to support and help us. While it is good to look to others for support the greatest source of help comes from the Lord. He will always answer when we call. There is no name any greater than the name of Jesus!
