Read Hebrews 7:26 – Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The scriptures declare His virgin birth.
No other man has ever or will ever be able to declare himself holy, blameless, pure, different from other sinners and exalted! Only Jesus can claim this position. We are made into those things because at the new birth we are placed "in Him". His life covers our sins and we are blameless and pure. No man should be so foolish as to believe that by any act he can ever be sinless and free from the curse of sin that man inherited from Adam and Eve! Yet Jesus did because His Father was God and He lived a life untarnished by partaking of sin. Christ alone is the worthy Lamb of God.
