Read Ecclesiastes 6:8b-10 – What does a poor man gain by knowing how to conduct himself before others? Better what the eye sees than the roving of the appetite. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Whatever exists has already been named, and what man is has been known; no man can content with one who is stronger than he.
At times it is difficult for men to find satisfaction in the things in front of them. Something on the inside says, “look for more”. So many times men lice their lies in an endless and futile search only to find that what they have been searching for is never as good as what they thought it would be. If you are searching for greener grass stay where you are and fertilize the field you already have. Otherwise you may look back one day and see what you once had is now in the possession of someone else who cherished a gold mine that just needed a little work and appreciation.
